About the Event
Julie Slim is back at Takara with Bonne Année Quintet for an evening of romantic jazz and pop standards from around the world. The band name is a tribute to the former leader of the band, Bobo (Dr. Jack Griffin, pianist) in memory of his beloved cat, Goodyear, who crossed the rainbow bridge recently. Excellent musicians include Art Carvajal on bass, Brian Pardo on guitar and Eundo Parks on trumpet.
