About the Event
Join us at the Museum of Human Achievement for a day filled with culture, and community. This event is meant to bring awareness to the Palestinian cause as well as fundraise for organizations directly helping the indigenous people of Palestine, specifically the Palestine Children's Relief Fund and the Middle Eastern Children's Alliance.
Be prepared to be immersed in the tunes of live music performances by talented artists. Let the rhythms connect you to a people known for their musical expertise and complex notes. I am honored to be one of the vocalists with the Viva Palestina Music Ensemble, an amazing group of professional artists and friends celebrating Palestinian folk and resistance songs.
Discover the beauty of Falasteen's arts and crafts at our artisan market. Get your hands on unique handmade items that reflect the country's rich artistic traditions.
Don't miss our enlightening cultural talks and info booths, where you can learn more about Falasteen's history, traditions, and contemporary issues.
Bring your family and friends to this incredible event that celebrates the spirit of Falasteen. Mark your calendars for a day of joy, connection, mourning, and unity at the Free Falasteen Fest!
Donations will be collected at the door with a minimum of $15. All proceeds will go to the PCRF and MECA. A portion of the proceeds from the vendors will also go to these organizations.

Welcome -with Sari Andoni - opening words and solo oud with cultural context.
2:30- 2:45 pm
Tane Ward - spoken word
2:45- 3:15 pm
Son Entre Rios - Son Jarocho music in solidarity with Palestina
3:15- 3:30 pm
Hanna Salmon - Traditional folk story-telling
4-5 pm
Viva Palestina Ensemble - Traditional Palestinian music dedicated to providing historical and current context to the Palestinian cause.
5-5:15 pm
Sara Bawany - Spoken word
5:15- 5:45 pm
Shams - Arabic fusion band playing popular music from the Levant and surrounding areas.
