About the Event
This will be a very special concert, a tribute to my second mother, Taita (which means grandmother in Arabic), who is now flying free from the shackles of earthly living. She was born on this day in 1929 and was my friend, mentor, mother, inspiration, student, thought exchanger and so much more. She lives on in my heart through her unconditional love and the lessons she imparted me over the years.
With my amazing musicians and guest bass player, Glenn Rexach, I will be singing some of her favorites she loved to hear me sing, originals, and many more.
